The Cannabis Community is Love
On the second Thursday of every month Social Media Unicorn proudly hosts the Las Vegas Medical Marijuana Association’s Market Trends in Marijuana to educate, inspire, and connect our community. February’s Las Vegas Medical Marijuana Association’s (LVMMA) monthly mixer was all about ‘Loving Your Cannabis Community.’ The fun filled night was held at Social Media Unicorn’s North Las Vegas headquarters. Normally, the LVMMA events take place at Wayne Newton’s Casa de Shenandoah, and serve as an educational evening; including an expert panel and a Q&A portion. However, this month they decided to focus on the people and not the products incorporated in the cannabis community.
How To Show Love
They showed our love by surprising guests with a FREE CBD Weekend Box as they walked in!! The love fest continued as the fierce and fabulous Raja Gemini (winner of Season 3’s RuPaul’s Drag Race) mingled and posed with guests for photos. All pictures from the event were courtesy of cannabis community members, Dope Foto. Finally, attendees were still able to receive information about new cannabis products. Vendors were happy to inform those who stopped by their tables. They offered guests non-infused samples, such as bon-bons, tea, and cupcakes! If that didn’t show the cannabis community how much they were loved, they also filled their warehouse with a FREE munchies bar and drinks.
The Take Away
Sure, this month’s event had a relaxed vibe, but there was still no cannabis consumption allowed. Luckily, that didn’t have an effect on the mood because the atmosphere was still fun and lively. The entire evening had a house party feel, with popular music filling the air, along with conversation and laughter. It was nice seeing familiar faces and new people of different ages, backgrounds and professions come together for a common interest…cannabis. This was definitely a night for the books.
